About Me

My name is ReShawna Leaven. I'm a REALTOR​® with KW United and licensed in Virginia, Maryland and DC. I am proud to say that I’m celebrating 20 years in real estate. 

Why am I different? I have a passion for real estate and it’s not just a transaction for me. After hundreds of transactions under my belt, I have the expertise to better serve my clients with their unique needs. I also hold several certifications. I am a certified Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE), Military Relocation Professional (MRP), Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®), Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR) and Crypto Certified Agent. For over two decades, I have assisted buyers and sellers with achieving their real estate goals whether to purchase their first homes, sell their first home and buy a larger home or to downsize or sell investment property. My continued goal is to enhance my education to be better equipped to assist my clients with their negotiations and getting them to the closing table.

As your buyer’s agent, I have knowledge of different financing types, interest rate options, adjustable rate and fixed rate mortgages, first time home buyer loan programs, repeat buyer programs and more. I have experience assisting buyers with the following Conventional loans, FHA loans, USDA loans, VA loans, Virginia Housing (formerly VHDA), DC Open Doors, Maryland Mortgage Program, HECM mortgage (Reverse Mortgages) NACA and a host of other loan programs. I also have industry professionals (loan officers, home inspectors, home insurance agents, etc.) to assist my clients with their home buying journey.

 

As your listing agent, I have experience assisting homeowners who are selling their home traditionally, short sale, inherited homes, divorce sales, downsizing/upgrading homeowners, children assisting with transitioning parents to another home/assisted living facility. It’s important to have a relocation plan in place ahead of time to have seamless transition whether you are buying and selling, selling and renting or relocating to another state.  I also have industry professionals (professional photographer, home stager, decluttering expert, junk removal company, painter, pre-inspection specialist, referral agents throughout the United States, etc.) to assist my clients with their home selling journey.
