- Must be a first-time buyer AND your parents must not have owned real estate in the past 3 years
- Can be paired with other Virginia Housing programs (except SPARC)
- Income restrictions apply
SPARC (Sponsoring Partnerships & Revitalizing Communities)
- 1% interest rate reduction
- First-time buyer requirement
- Can be combined with other Virginia Housing programs
- Income restrictions apply
Down Payment Assistance (DPA) Grant
- No repayment required
- Covers 1% down payment
- Considered a true gift/grant
- Can be paired with non-Virginia Housing DPA
- Must be a first-time buyer
- Income restrictions apply
Closing Cost Assistance (CCA) Grant
- No repayment required
- Covers part of closing costs
- Can be used with non-Virginia Housing programs
- First-time buyer required
- Income restrictions apply
Plus Second Mortgage
- 0% down payment option
- 30-year fixed-rate second mortgage
- Available to both first-time and repeat buyers
- Income restrictions apply
